Welcome to Higher Ground Ranch, we’re so glad you’re here! For those that don’t know, my name is Shelby. I am a wife to an amazing firefighter (DJ) and mom to three sweet boys! McCoy, Bowman and Jaeger.

I have been involved with various livestock, horses and poultry my whole life. If know me personally, there’s no doubt that you are already familiar with our furry and feathered critters.

Higher Ground Ranch is where our hearts are. We know that nothing in life comes without a sacrifice or without requiring great faith. We are not strangers to struggle and all that entails when it comes to farming. However, we choose to place our trust in Him. After many years of prayer, we are finally able to take the next step. So without further ado, we would like to introduce to you, Higher Ground Ranch.

Higher Ground Ranch has been an absolute dream for our family! We have been so blessed to be able to pursue this journey further by being able to share our animals with others. The benefits of animals are truly endless so when the idea of offering a mobile petting zoo came about, it was a no-brainer. Being able to share the snuggles and cuddles with families all over the midlands has been an incredible experience.
